Delete Your LocShare Account

LocShare (developed by PubLocShare) lets you permanently delete your account and its associated data directly from within the app, at any time.

How to Delete Your Account

1. Open the LocShare app and sign in.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Scroll down and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm by tapping Delete account in the dialog that appears.

Your account is deleted immediately after confirming — there is no waiting period.

What Gets Deleted

• Your profile (display name, avatar, phone number association)
• Your location history and any places you've marked or visited
• Your sharing permissions and connections with other users
• Your interest tags, badges, and activity/challenge progress

What Is Retained

• Messages you've sent remain visible in the other participant's copy of a conversation — deleting your account does not delete their message history, since that would erase content that belongs to their side of the conversation too.
• If you had previously granted someone visibility into your location or data, that grant is tied to your account. Once your account is deleted, there is no longer any account or data left for that grant to expose.
